Mr. Faust is the founder and owner of Old Dominion Trial Lawyers. He focuses
his litigation practice on primarily large-scale Circuit Court litigation matters
covering a broad range of legal topics. Mr. Faust holds a degree in history
from Old Dominion University and immediately began law school at the
American University, Washington College of Law, after obtaining his degree.

Federal Court matters. Mr. Faust is licensed to practice in all State courts for
Virginia and the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts

Mr. Faust began his career clerking for a civil litigation law firm in Silver
Spring, Maryland, during law school. Once he became licensed to practice law
in 2020, his career as an attorney started at a reputable firm in Virginia Beach
handling nursing home negligence and personal injury cases. He then moved
to Northern Virginia to capitalize on an opportunity to serve as first-chair on
personal injury trials to gain trial experience. From there, Mr. Faust switched
gears and worked exclusively as a medical malpractice defense attorney
representing physicians in lawsuits filed against them by patients. In that
position, Mr. Faust participated in numerous 3+ day jury trials as a member of
a trial attorney team, which catapulted his legal career.
Shortly after returning to Virginia Beach, on January 5, 2024, Mr. Faust
opened Old Dominion Trial Lawyers with one client and a laptop. He has since
grown Old Dominion Trial Lawyers to its current size of three attorneys, a
paralegal, and a legal assistant. When he started Old Dominion Trial Lawyers,
Mr. Faust expanded his practice to include corporate/ business disputes,
construction disputes, Virginia Consumer Protection Act claims, and
landlord/tenant matters. He was nominated as a Top Lawyer of Coastal
Virginia Magazine for 2026.
In his free time, Mr. Faust enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his
pets Mako (a golden retriever) and Mako’s cat brothers, Scallop and Oyster.
